3 Ways to Register or Update Your Registration

You'll need your social security number and your driver's license or Kentucky ID number. You won't need to show a photo ID until election day.

1. ONLINE: vote.gov/register
2. IN PERSON: at the Clark County Clerk's Office at 34 South Main Street
3. BY MAIL: Print a registration form and mail it to the Clark County Clerk’s mailing address - P.O. Box 4060, Winchester, KY 40392.

   • Drop box located at Clark County Courthouse, 34 South Main Street
   • Request your absentee ballot by May 5
2. Early voting
   • Excused In-Person Absentee
     • Dates: May 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 2026
     • Times: MONDAY 8 AM - 5 PM, TUESDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM - 4 PM
     • Location: Clark County Courthouse (1st Floor)
   • No Excuse In-Person Absentee
     • Dates: May 14, 15, 16, 2026
     • Times: THURSDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM - 4 PM, SATURDAY 9 AM - 5 PM
     • Location: Clark County Courthouse (1st Floor)
3. In person
